NYSE The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) is the largest stock exchange in the world, with a total market capitalization of more than $20 trillion. It is host to over 2,500 companies, and trades approximately 200 billion shares of stock daily. It is located at 11 Wall Street, in the heart of New York City’s financial district. Companies list their shares on the NYSE, and investors can buy and sell these shares in the form of stocks or bonds. The NYSE is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
