BSE

BSE stands for Bombay Stock Exchange and is located in India. It is one of the world’s oldest and largest stock exchanges by market capitalisation and is the oldest stock exchange in Asia. Founded in 1875, BSE is currently the sixth-largest stock exchange in the world with an overall market capitalisation of more than US$2.2 trillion as of December 2020. The BSE offers trading in securities such as equities, derivatives, debt instruments, and mutual funds. Additionally, the exchange operates a number of indices, including the S&P BSE SENSEX, which serves as the benchmark index for the Indian equity market.
